Expedite construction work on newly approved PHE schemes : Niaz

JAMMU, October 29 : Former Minister and MLA Bhadarwah Mohammad Sharief Niaz has urged upon government to expedite construction work of all newly approved PHE schemes and provide funds for the old and defunct PHE schemes in all the three blocks of Bhadarwah constituency.
Niaz also demanded that the execution work of all PMGSY, CRF, JKPCC, NABARD roads be restarted immediately which has been halted for some time and adequate funds for their completion should be released. Even adequate funds should be released for the compensation of land and structure owners whose land has been acquired for these developmental schemes be provided at an earliest so that short working season is cashed and work completed in time.
Niaz also demanded that at least one job be provided to the families who provided land for construction of PHE reservoirs and other PHE schemes. He also demanded that all PHE, Power, Forest daily wagers and casual labourers and employees working in other departments on contractual basis be regularised.
