| AJKLTF deputation calls on DSE, Jammu | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 29:A deputation of All Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Teacher's Federation (AJKLTF) met Director School Education (DSE), Jammu, Gulzar Ahmead Qurashi at his office chamber today.
The deputation comprising office bearers from all the districts of Jammu province was led by Balwan Singh Jamwal. The members of the deputation discussed the problems of teaching community with the DSE, Jammu.
A character of demands was put forth before the Director School Education for their early redressel.
The demands include proper norms regarding transfer avoiding political interference, minimum dislocation should be adopted and subject need of the institutions be taken into consideration in transfers, regularization of all cadres of School Education Department working in their own pay grade with immediate effect from the date of their promotion and cash in lieu benefit to the teaching community at par with other State Government Employees.
They also demanded selection list of the teachers of the various district lying with SSB should be released immediately to fill up the vacant posts of teachers lying in various institution of the State to streamline the education.
Members of the federation brought into the notice of the Director School Education that inspite of repeated memorandums, peaceful demonstrations Government has failed to redress the most genuine demands of the teaching community.
Director School Education gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured that their grievances viz a viz demands shall be redressed at earliest.
