| CB presents challan in SIM scam | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 29: Crime Branch Jammu today presented challan in Court of Special Municipal Mobile Magistrate against Vikas Suri, Piyush Gupta, Rishav Jain & Rohan Singh Rakwal in a SIM Card Scam.
During investigation the CBJ revealed that the consumers applications forms mostly unfilled and unsigned by the consumers were received by these distributors either directly or through agents/retail dealers, they used to fill-up these forms (even affixing forged signatures of the consumers upon it) themselves than annexed the forged/scanned documents relating to the proof of identity/address and would lastly affixed self-prepared forged seals of a Gazetted officer upon the consumers application forms.
Crime Branch Jammu raided the premises of three distributors of Reliance Communication wherefrom number of incriminating documents and material in the shape of fake rubber seals were recovered, during the investigation more documents were recovered and seized. During the surprise raid conducted by CBJ In the premises of the accused distributors companies, eight rubbers of stamps were recovered and seized in the case. The seals seized as Tehsildar (VIG), Relief Organization (M) Jammu, Dy Secy CAPD, BDO Mendhar, Dr. BP Sharma (BAMS), AO Customs and Central Excise Commissioner, Asst Secy (certificate) J&K BOSE, Dr. Gurmeet Singh MD and after completion investigation challan was presented in the Court of CJM which was transferred to special Municipal Mobile Magistrate Jammu.
