| DB restrains state from making appointment of recommended candidates of CCE 2009 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 29: Division Bench of J&K High Court Jammu Wing comprising Chief Justice FM Ibrahim Kalifulla and Justice Muzaffar Hussain Attar in a petition restrained the state from making any appointment of recommended candidates (Combined Competitive Examination 2009).
Division Bench after hearing Sr. Adv DC Raina appearing for the PSC produced sealed cover containing the communication of PSC informing the result of those candidates who preferred the petitions in this Court and have come out successful within the cut of merit. The said cover was open contents were noted. Since the appellant namely Safura Bahar Wani and Mohd Aqeel MIR have not come out successful in the interview, there appeals stand dismissed and withdrawn, while the appeals remaining appellants name Imtiyaz-ul-Hussain, Rishi relating to the third appellant namely Imtiyaz-ul-Hussain Rishi survives for consideration.
Division Bench after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma for the appellants and Sr. Adv DC Raina for the PSC, observed that the counsel for the PSC will furnish the names and details of the selected candidates in the RBA Category and open merit category to enable the appellant to take steps for impeding them as party respondents and ordered that appellants take steps within two weeks and in the meanwhile any appointment of recommended candidates will be subject to outcome of the appeal.
