JAMMU, Oct 29: District Poonch boys excelled in Table Tennis while Jammu district boys and girls shined in Yoga in the two-day annual divisional level inter-district competitions organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) which got underway at Gymnasium Hall of the University of Jammu, here today.
Earlier, the competitions were declared open by the Deputy Director DYSS, S S Bali. He was accompanied by district officer, Mohd Ayaz Khan and other officers of the department.

JUDO: Boys U-14: 30 kg: Farid Ali, Kathua, Ist; Sumedh Singh, Jammu, 2nd. 35 kg: Shubham Sharma, Jammu, Ist and Alif Ali, Kathua, 2nd. 40 kg: Jeevan Singh, Jammu, Ist and Vishesh Thakur, Kathua, 2nd. Plus 55 kg: Shebhan Manhas, Jammu, Ist and Jyoti Aditya Singh, Kathua, 2nd.
TABLE TENNIS: Boys: U-14: Poonch bt Udhampur 3-0. U-17: Poonch bt Udhampur 3-0. U-19: Jammu bt Udhampur 3-1; Poonch bt Rajouri 3-1.
