| Pedestrian killed, 5 others hurt in road accidents | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Oct 30: A pedestrian was killed and five others, including a woman, were
wounded in separate road accidents here today.
The brakes of a truck failed at Sidco Chowk in Bari Brahmana, Samba, as a result of
which it hit tipper, a rehri and a concrete mixer after hitting Guddu (45), son of Nawab
Din.
Guddu was killed on the spot. He hailed from Trate Basti, Bari Brahmana.
Tipper driver Heera Lal, son of Krishan Lal of Chatha, was also wounded. He was
hospitalised.
Anuradha and two others got injured in a motorcycle accident on the national highway
at Ghagwal, Samba.
Another motorcyclist was injured after he was hit by a Santro car at Barian, Samba. He
too was admitted to hospital
