| 'Gandhians Parikrama' completed | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu OCT 30: Spreading the message of peace and communal amity, Gandhi Global Family (GGF) has successfully completed its mission "Gandhians Parikrama around north eastern part of the country for peace".
"Under the guidance of its president, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, GGF has completed its mission Gandhians Parikrama around north eastern part of the country for peace," J&K chief of GGF, S P Verma told reporters here.
The parikrama was led by eminent Gandhian SP Verma and was flagged off by Azad on October 13 from New Delhi.
The parikarma was taken out to spread message of the Father of the Nation by adopting his principals of truth, non-violence, brotherhood and eradication of social evils, he said.
The parikrama passed through Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Meghalaya covering a distance of over 4000 km, Verma said.
