| Fake teachers appointment in Mendhar area | | | Early Times Report
poonch, Oct 30: People and unemployed youth in Mendhar tehsil have expressed their concern over the prevailing mess in education department and fake appointments made by some officials in connivance with higher authorities of the department.
The people in a meeting held at Gohlad, tehsil mendhar, dist poonch took the department to task for its failure in taking action against the defaulters and demanded high level probe into the matter and action against the defaulters.
As per reports fake appointments had been made at GPS Dachal and Paylian(Kotan). Two females have been appointed fraudulently as RET whose qualification is only 10+2. Previously the matter was informed to CEO Poonch and Deputy CEO Mendhar and action was taken up against them but later on it was found that they were putting up their attendance in the school register through ill means. According to Sources this all was done by one senior teacher who is posted at GPS Dachal and is highly influential. The matter was highlighted before the department and consequently the attendance register of school was picked up by CEO Poonch but no action was taken up.
They have brought matter to notice of Zonal Education Officer Mendhar and Chief Education Officer Poonch. They have warned that if the matter is not sorted out within shortest possible time they will highlight the matter strongly against the school/education authorities and may even go on strike. The people have made an appeal to Chief Minister and Education Minister urging them to order a high level enquiry into the matter and punish the culprits under the law.
It may be recalled that earlier one fake education guarantee school was also sealed by authorities in one of the remotest area in Mendhar tehsil and its records were seized by Dy. Chief Education Officer.
People of the area are highly perturbed over the mess in education department and have termed it an infringement on the rights of educated people. |
