Health Department Kishtwar organized workshop on sanitation | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kishtwar Oct 31:- Health Department Kishtwar under the leadership of Chief Medical Officer Kishtwar Dr. Ajay Gupta organized workshop on sanitation inside the premises of Islamia Fereediya Education and Research Institute Kishtwar. Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Hussain Malik presided over the function in which ADDC Kishtwar Nazir Ahmed Shah, Commandant CISF Kishtwar Hari Om Gandhi and Administrator Auqaf Islamia Kishtwar Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo were the guest of the honor. Dr. Ajay Gupta CMO Kishtwar highlighted the importance of organizing the workshop on Sanitation. He informed the gathering that most of the diseases in any part of the world spreads due to unhygienic and lack of civic sense among the masses. Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Mohammad Hussain Malik in his address stress for organizing more awareness camp regarding sanitation. He said that people from ancient times way back to 2000 BC also follows the basic civic awareness. He said that maintaining cleanness within their vicinity has put lot of impact on the health hazards of common masses. He said that government has launched several schemes regarding sanitation and said that under Rural Sanitation Program, Government provides about Rs.2800 to each house hold for construction of latrine, so that the waste material could be prevented to mix with drinking water and other related food stuff. Students from various school and colleges also put forth his view point’s regarding importance of sanitation in human life. Shabir Ahmed Kamal ex president MC Kishtwar, BMO Kishtwar Parvaiz Iqbal Wani, Xen PMGSY Prem Nath Koul, principal Islamia Fareediya College of Education Kishtwar Abdul Hamid Khan, Sanjay Parihar and others also attended the function
