| Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting held | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct 31: MLA Ramban Ashok Kumar today held a series of meetings of Rogi Kalyan Samities (RKS) of four allopathic dispensaries (AD) and two Public Health Centres (PHC) of Ramban tehsil besides reviewing financial achievements of Community Health Centre (CHC) Batote here today.
After having threadbare discussion on requirements of paraphernalia, medical devices, furniture and other hospital materials needed for facilities of patients in the ADs of Halla, Dhandrat, Chanderkot,Sanasar and two PHCs of Bhatni and Rajgarh, Ashok granted approval for financial sanction for purchases under National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) for these hospitals as forwarded by incharge of these hospitals in consultation with the members of the concerning Rogi Kalyan Samities.
He also reviewed financial achievements of CHC Batote in regard to the decisions taken in the previous RKS meeting. While speaking, Ashok exhorted RKS members to forward only those demands which are only quintessential for the comfort of the patients and the facility of the doctors and paramedical staff for diagnosing the patients. He asked incharge doctors of these hospitals to utilize NRHM funds in purchasing the items approved by the RKS before March 31 and get the utilization Certificate
