CJM denies bail to head priest in fake gun license case | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Oct 31: Chief Judicial Magistrate Jammu Jatinder Singh Jamwal rejected bail application of Vishveshwar son of Ram Avtar Parshad of Janipur who claimed to be a Head Priest of Mandir of Janipur. While rejecting two bail applications filed by Vishveshwar in which Adv Rajneesh Oswal appeared for the accused applicant and CPO Pawan Khajuria appeared for the State, CJM Jammu Jatinder Singh Jamwal observed that the prosecution in its objections resisted bail application on the grounds that the offences in which the accused has been booked are non-bailable and the investigation of the case is still in progress. Further, court said that in case, the accused is admitted to bail; he is likely to hamper the investigation and prosecution evidences. CPO Pawan Khajuria besides reiterating the grounds in the objections argued that accused does not deserve concession of the bail in view of the series of allegations of serious natures leveled against him. With these observations, court dismissed both the bail applications. According to the police case, applicant was arrayed as accused and arrested in a case registered at P/S Janipur u/s 382/354/323/511 r/w section 376 RPC. It further transpires that facts which surfaced during the investigation of the applicant in FIR NO 133/2011 of P/S Janipur for commission of offence u/s 420/467/468/471 RPC and u/s 3/25 Arms Act and also case was registered vide FIR NO 13/2004 of P/S Pacca Danga Jammu for offences u/s 354 & 380 RPC. Investigation of case was also transferred to P/S Janipur.
