| Power shut down | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, OCTOBER 31- To carry out the jumpering work at span No. 40-01 and 01-41 of 132KV D/C Barn-Siot-Kalakote transmission (common tower for Barn-Akhnoor and Akhnoor-Siot section) and also for change of the phase sequence of the outgoing from 132 KV Grid Station, Akhnoor, the shut down of Barn-Akhnoor section of 132 KV D/C Barn-Siot- Kalakote transmission line on November Ist, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. is allowed.
According to Chief Engineer, S&O Wing, Jammu, the power supply to the areas being fed from Grid Station Akhnoor shall remain affected during the shut down period.
