| CAO, Ashok receives warm send off | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, OCTOBER 31- A warm farewell was given to Treasury Officer Mr.Ashok Sharma who attained superannuation here today after rendering a successful tenure of his services of over three decades.
Mr. Sharma who retired here today started his service as Accountant after completion of training from the NZATI. He served in various departments during his tenure.
As Accountant, he worked in Municipality Jammu, Forest Division Batote and Deputy Director Accounts and Treasury Jammu while as Assistant Accounts Officer, he worked in Jammu Municipality, PWD, PDD, Agriculture Joint Director Accounts and Treasuries Jammu.
Similarly, as Chief Accounts Officer, Mr. Ashok served in Joint Directorate A&T Jammu, Treasury Kathua, IGP Jammu, Treasury New Plot Jammu.
It is for the first time in the history of treasuries services that any Treasury Officer has been honoured by the Association of Pensioners of Jammu.
Later, Mr. Ashok was presented mementoes by the treasury department. The department had words of praise for the retiree for his pro-people and honest approach.
