| Army school students attend Basic Leadership Camp | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Oct 31: Nine students (girls) and ANO of Army Public School Akhnoor attended the All India Basic Leadership Camp Jr Wing for 10 days at Bhubaneswar (Orissa).
This camp was conducted by 1 Orissa Girls Bn NCC Bhubaneswar in which 350 girls (Jr Wing) from all over India participated.
DDG NCC was the Chief Guest, Education Minister of Orrisa was the guest of honour & Col SK Palo, Camp Comdt also attended the camp.
The aim of camp was to develop leadership qualities in children and to search the talent. interact between children to share customs, culture, festivals and traditions.
Students visited various sites of Orrisa like Namdar Kanan Zoo, Botinical garden, Jagan Nath Puri, Puri Beach, Konark Temple and Museam
Different competitions were organised such as shooting, athelitics, cultural, debate and extempore etc.
Shaveta & Bandana got Gold Medals in Shooting & Athletics.
J &K got consolation prize for presenting Dogri & Kashmiri cultural programme.
