| DDC Doda suspends 3 officials | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, NOVEMBER 01- District Development Commissioner, Doda, Mr Farooq Ahmed Khan today inspected various Government Schools in the Doda town and suspended three officials for being absent from duty.
During the inspection of some schools it was found that some excessive teachers have been attached / posted, DDC issued orders for detachment / posting of at least 20 excessive teachers to the rural areas so that the grave deficiency of staff in rural areas could be met. DDC issued onspot instructions to deploy teachers in rural areas who have a longer stay at one place in urban area.
Sh. Salim-ur-Rehman Fani Physical Education Teacher, Sh. Fayaz Ahmed Physical Education Teacher and Sh. Rajan Accounts Assistant District Youth Services and Sports Office Doda were suspended and an inquiry was ordered under Chief Education Officer Doda Y.R Thussu in this regard.
DDC impressed upon the teachers to work for the betterment and development of the future of nation. He said that Physical activities in schools are important for overall personality development of student community. He said that there is need to reorganize the Physical Education Department in the District for the promotion of physical activities among the students. He said that the mess in the PE Department in Doda will be streamlined.
DDC also inspected Grameen Bhavan Doda and directed Assistant Commissioner Development, Doda to vacate all the encroachments on the complex.
