| KAC organises Display Season 1 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 01: To promote hidden talent and to provide stage exposure to the budding talent Kiran Academy of Creations Vijaypur organised Creative Display Season 1.
Programme was inaugurated by the chief guest SSP Samba Israr Khan.
Programme started with the lightning of lamp followed by Sarwati vandana.
A Dance, Singing and painting competition organised in which more than 30 participants took participation.
Main highlight of the event was an odissi dance presented by Vidisha Talashi who was the disciple of Kelu Charan Mahapatra noted odissi dancer of India.
Nirvana Academy president Hitesh Badyal, Raman Singh Salathia and Saudhagar Singh adjudged the competition while Suraj Singh, Shruti Talashi and Teenu Gupta were the guest of honour on the occasion.
Usha Kiran organiser of the programme told on the occasion that Kiran Academy will these kind of event in future to provide platform to the artists from rural and remote areas.
Deeraj Methew and Salathia brothers noted singers from Vijaypur presented folk music performances on the occasion. Winners in the competitions are Shriya Salathia (first junior Singing), Riya (2nd junior Singing), Roohi (3rd Junior Singing), Abhinav Mahajan (1st Senior Singing), Jugal Kishore (2nd Senior Singing), Salman Khan (3rd Senior Singing), Namya (1stJunior Dance), Garima Salathia (2nd Junior Dance), Amisha Pant (3rd Junior Dance), Ragunandani (1st Senior Dance), Sejal (2nd senior dance), muskan (3rd Senior dance), Saravjeet Singh (1st painting), Vishal Singh (2nd painting), Rajeev Singh (3rd painting).
