The portion available to road-users is waterlogged, muddy with debris and leftovers of construction material littered all over.

They alleged that Revenue minister inaugurated web site at Udhampur district headquarter it would have been people pleasure if he would have been visited at Basantgarh so that he might have come across with problems being faced by local residents on ground .
Locals alleged that despite repeated pleas made with the administration they have failed to evoke any response.
Ragav Sharma of Udhampur alleged that few days back he visited the area and found that area is beautiful having tourism potential but lacks basic facility . He added that road condition is so bad that bus starts early in the morning at 6 a.m. from Udhampur and reached 5 p.m. at Basantgarh covering ninety five kilometers .
He added that there is no boarding and lodging facility on way upto Basantgrah than how administration is talking about boost of tourism.
People having non access to basic facility cannot think to go through web site as they have no concept of computer like facility.
He added that if administration and govt sincerely wants to boost economy of people boosting tourism than it should create basic facility than other things or possible otherwise it will be a eye wash for locals.
