ERTU held meet | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, November 2 : A meeting of the ERTU was held under the presidentship of Akhter Giri in which various burning issues of the teaching community were discussed .While addressing the meeting , Giri strongly condemn the statement given by the self styled so called AMATCC without keeping the majority of the community in confidence. Keeping the ground realities before the teaching community and higher authorities the meeting took serious exception that the newly established CEO Office is having sanctioned strength of posts in the shape of Assistant Director Planning, accountant, SO establishment, SO Planning, PA to CEO, junior assistants besides the repeated requests no staff has been provided till date by the concerned authorities. The vice president of the union Yash pal Sharma urged the Education Minister and director school education Jammu to intervene in the matter personally by providing adequate staff for the smooth functioning of the office other wise it is not a magic stick "that will prove everything out of nothing'" Moreover the ERTU president welcomes the decision of the government for establishing 60 residential schools in the state.
