| 1.18 lakh children being covered under pulse polio in Budgam | | | Budgam, January 06
All arrangements have been put in place to administer pulse polio drops to 1.18 lakh children upto 5 years of age in Budgam district on January 07, 2007. As many as 603 pulse polio booths have been set up to ensure successful implementation of the programme.
This was given out at an officers meeting at Budgam today chaired by Additional Deputy Commissioner.
It was informed in the meeting that 2402 employees representing Health, Education and Social Welfare departments have been deployed on duty.
Meanwhile, the administration has appealed the parents to get their children upto 5 years of age to the nearest booths for administering Polio drops. |
