| PCC drubs FCC in Asif Memorial T20 | | | Early Times Report
DODA, Nov 2: Pounda Cricket Club (PCC) drubbed Friends Cricket Club (FCC) by 13 runs in the 1st Asif Memorial T-20 Cricket Tournament which commenced at sports ground Kulhand in Doda today. The tournament is being organized by Young Star Cricket Club (YSCC) Doda in collaboration with Local Cricket Clubs of Kulhand.
Sarpanch Dhar-B, Ghulam Mohammad was the Chief Guest who inaugurated the tournament along with Sarpanch Kulhand, Krishan Chand and Numberdar Abdul Qadoos. Others present included Patron YSCC Manzoor Ahmed Batt, Moosa Azad, Javed Lone, Mehboob Kriapak and Shakeel Ahmed.
Earlier, PCC won the toss and opted to bat first. They scored 160 runs by in stipulated 20 overs losing 7 wickets in the process. Ghulam Rasool and Babar scored 39 and 21 runs. For FCC, Manzoor was the pick of the bowlers taking 3 wickets while Ashraf claimed one.
In reply, FCC Dali could not chase down the target and was all out for 147 runs. Ashraf and Rashid scored 25 and 20 runs from FCC. For PCC, Haroon and Gh Rasool took 3 and 2 wickets respectively. Ghulam Rasool of Pounda Cricket Club was adjudged man of the match for his best all round performance.
The match was officiated by Yog Raj, Farooq Magray and Koushal Kumar.
