JAMMU, Nov 2:Led-by promising cricketer Parvez Rasool, the Jammu and Kashmir Ranji Trophy team shall take on equally poised Assam in the Plate Group-B 4-day match at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium, Srinagar from tomorrow.
Without any win in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Cricket Tournament, Jammu and Kashmir team must be hoping to script a win against almost equally balanced Assam under young skipper to begin the 4-day campaign with a positive note.
Apart from skipper Rasool, J&K have some young talent in Adil Reshi, Ram Dayal and others, who performed fairly well in the recently concluded Mushtaq Ali tournament.
Meanwhile, JKCA has announced its 15-member squad for this match.
