Jammu, Nov 2: Dharam Pal Sharma-Ex-MP Senior Vice President Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has issued the following statement to the press, today. Former MP, Dharam Pal Sharma has taken strong note of National Conference (NC) spokesperson's statement on AFSPA. "Kamal has once again put his foot into his mouth and made unwarranted accusations against Congress party leaders on the question of repeal of AFSPA", he said. Condemning his remarks, he said Congress happens to be an equal partner in the coalition and entitled to its own perception on issues. He said Dr Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah enjoy Kamal's deplorable statements. "Otherwise how Mustafa Kamal could be promoted as NC's Chief Spokesman after a series of unwarranted and condemnable statements against the Congress party, since the inception of the coalition". We also reject with contempt the accusation of Mustafa Kamal that the Delhi hurled grenades in Kashmir. We can only say that only sick minds can give birth to such deplorable conceptions. |
