| Preparations for the 3rd Jammu Marathon geared up | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, November 3 : A meeting of members of the organizing was held at Jammu for the preparation of the 3rd Jammu Marathon. A large number of dignitaries from different walks of life attended the meeting.
A number of strategies were discussed to make more and more involvement of the general public in the 3rdJammu Marathon. Chairman of the organizing committee Anil Gupta addressed the members. He said it becomes the duty of every citizen of the state to make this event a big success because this year the 3rd Jammu Marathon is being organized to salute the great heroes of state like Maharaja Hari Singh Ji, Bawa Jittoo Ji, Banda Bairagi Ji, K L Sehgal. Dinu bhai Pant, Col. Peer Mohd. Khan and Pt. Prem Nath Dogra to name a few.
He said this event is a great opportunity for all of us to showcase our culture and heritage in front of the whole nation. This will be a very small gesture by the citizens in honor of our great national heroes.
Anil Gupta believed that this event will be seen as a great event by the whole nation. This marathon will give the message of peace, unity and integrity to the entire world.
The 3rd Jammu Marathon is also a good opportunity for showcasing our culture and heritage in front of the whole world, he said.
