HSS criticize petrol price hike | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 3: Hindustan Shiv Sena has strongly criticised the hike in the prices of the petrol by Rs 1.82 per litre with immediate effect. Dimpy Kohli president Hindustan Shiv Sena in a press statement issued here today said that the Govt. while announcing any increase in the petrol prices never think about the middle man having a limited income and have only 2-wheeler, how much the amount he has to spent on petrol.
He will have to cut the consumption of other things required for children of family only to meet the expenditure of petrol being consumed by him.
It is 4th increase during the year and the Govt. has to face embarrassment every time. The Govt. should let the people prepare in advance about any increase in the petrol/diesel or any thing while in the case of announcing DA in favour of employees twice in a year January and July every year.
Let the increase be twice in a year but not 4/5 times. The common man cannot bear this burden.
Hindustan Shiv Sena warned the Govt. to desist in increasing the prices of petrol/diesel after every two months, to withdraw the increase otherwise the Hindustan Shiv Sena will intensify the protest.
