Omar has adopted dictatorial attitude towards youth: Nirmal Singh | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 3: BJP national executive member & former state president Nirmal Singh, while addressing a series of public meetings at Gallar, Bhagna, Ishtyari, Kwar, Gulabgarh and adjoining areas on the second day of party’s “Jan Jagran Yatra” launched from Paddar on Novenber 02, alongwith Sunil Sharma, Capt. Hukam Chand, Brij Mohan Sharma, Akshay Sharma and Vijay Parihar, said that instead of formulating a concrete “Employment Policy” and attending to the problem of unemployment, the Omar Abdullah led coalition government in the state has adopted dictatorial attitude towards the youth. Democracy is being murdered and the citizens are deprived of the fundamental right to raise voice against injustice. Nirmal Singh said it is indeed unfortunate that the Omar led NC-Congress coalition has no policy for the youth. The number of educated youth is going up with each passing year. In absence of a “Youth Employment Policy” the educated youth is feeling helpless. If any one gets job, he is paid even less than what a laborer earns in a month. Those employed under contractual/adhoc/ daily wages basis are not been regularized for years together. The excuse that paucity of funds creates hurdles in providing new jobs to educated youth is just to mislead the people as the Omar government has enough money to spend on luxuries of Chief Minister, Ministers and Bureaucrats. He declared that the party will continue with its unconditional support to the genuine demands of the unemployed youth of the state adding that the government should shed its policy of hatred and frame a youth policy aimed at adjusting the educated youth after the completion of their academic and technical educations.
