| Ranji: Rain spoils day-2 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 04: After Assam’s slow but confident star on the opening day yesterday, the second day of the play was completely washed away without bowling a single delivery due to rains in the Ranji Trophy Plate League Group-B tie at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here today.
The showers, which kept both the teams to their rooms for the whole day, may not allow the game to resume tomorrow in the shadow of wet outfield and foggy weather in the valley.
Earlier, on the opening day of the play yesterday, J&K won the toss and opted to field. Batting first, Assam made 297 for four in 90 overs.
