| POWERGRID NRTS-II Celebrates Vigilance Awareness Week 2011 | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu , nov 4Power Grid Corporation of India today observed Vigilance Awareness Week from 31st October to 5th November 2011 in its all offices falling under Northern Region Transmission System-II.
During the Vigilance Awareness Week, several programmes were organized in various schools apart from site offices for creating awareness among the employees and their family members .
On the concluding day a seminar on prevention of corruption was organized in the Regional Headquarter of POWERGRID, Jammu in which Dr. R.R. Khajuria founder & S. K. Jain, President of Vichar Kranti Munch International, a socio spiritual voluntary organization Jammu share their views on prevention of corruption and also stressed that there is a need to improve the moral values of the individual and also inculcation of moral and ethical values in the society especially in the students and young generation.
In his welcome address S. C. Singh, Executive Director (NRTS-II) appraised the visiting dignitaries about the steps being taken by POWERGRID in bringing more and more transparency in official works.
