| Religious education helps a person to lead good life: Saroori | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar Nov 4:- Former Roads and Building Minister and MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori said that religious education helps a person to lead a dignified life. Saroori was commenting on a news item published in Early Times regarding surfacing of pornographic clips and photographs in Doda and Kishtwar District during annual day function of Adarsh Balniketen High School Kishtwar.
Saroori said that the aim and objective of establishing community schools like Adarsh
Balniketen and Islamia Fareedia Higher Secondary School is to provide the religious education to the students in addition to basic education.
“Anyone who had good knowledge about his religious will never adopt wrong path that can prove shameful for the individual as well as for the society,” Saroori said.
He said that both community schools ABN and IFHS is one of the best gift bestowed on us among our ancestors who laid the foundation stone of these two community schools.
Saroori said that he is committed to provide all possible help to both ABN as well as IFHS, so that the students of Kishtwar district can compete with the students of other parts of the state and country.
“Present era is the era of computer science and Information Technology and keeping in view such things we accordingly need to upgrade the standard of educational institutes in Kishtwar District., Saroori added.
He said that not only he but the people of Kishtwar District feel immense pleasure over the recent success of Kishtwar youths in IAS and KAS examination. He said that there is a need that people should generously donate to community institutes like ABN and IFHS. He said that strengthening of Kishtwar University will be a vital for promotion of education in Kishtwar District.
He said that instead of restricting the University Campus in 100-200 Kanal of land, we must look into it at broader vision and choose such place for Kishtwar University Campus where there is a wide scope of its expansion in future. He said that as far as construction of Kishtwar University Campus, he would like that both he (Saroori) and MLA Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo will work together so that a suitable location could be identified for its establishment.
On this occasion vice chairman Mata Sarthal Devi Trust Thakur Jughal Bhandari was the guest of honor.
Meanwhile head of the management of ABN High School Kishtwar Duni Chand Sharma expressed his thanks to Mr. Saroori for spearing his value able time to attend today’s function. Mr. Sharma also lured the efforts of Ghulam Nabi Azad for providing Rs. 40 lacs to the school management out of his MPLAD funds for construction of school building.
