| JKEDI organizes Awareness Programme on SCFS | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jmmu, Nov 4: In its commitment to reach upto the Rural Backward Areas of J&K, Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI)conducted One Day Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) on Seed Capital Fund Scheme (SCFS) under SKEWPY (Shere-e-Kashmir Employment and Welfare Programme for Youth) and National Minorities Development Finance Corporation (NMDFC) .
A series of seven EAP’s conducted in Jammu division in last 2 months on SCFS and NMDFC schemes and last of two programmes were conducted in Dansal Block,on 2nd Nov at Bamyal and 4th Nov at Shibba areas which comes under RBA. The programme was attended by round about 150 people from different panchyats. The course Co ordinator Gourav Khajuria stressed upon the need of entrepreneurship development to eliminate the problem of unemployment in the state. He explained the participant about Seed Capital Fund Scheme (SCFS) and National Minorities Development Finance Corporation (NMDFC).
Further the participants had an interactive session with Public Relation Assistant Abhilash Baroo regarding the scheme and the basic requirements.
