MTCC held protest inside CEO office Kishtwar
Accuses CEO to promote corruption and favoritism

Kishtwar Nov 4:- Masters/Teachers Coordination Committee Kishtwar held strong protest against Ajeet Kumar Sharma Chief Education Officer Kishtwar and accused him to promote corruption and favoritism while dealing routine matters including transfers. The protesters led by Mohammad Irfan Matoo shouted slogans against the CEO and demanded that order regarding detachment of all employees working in CEO office Kishtwar should immediately be implemented.
They accused the CEO Kishtwar, that he along with other employees of his office is involved in corruption and charges hefty amount for transfer orders.
They said that CEO office mostly remained locked during day time and instead the work in CEO Office Kishtwar started after 7 p.m. that too after the office was locked from outside.
They alleged that CEO is also patronizing some of his official and give them an open hand in promoting corruption, beside this one employee holds several charges.
They alleged that CEO office is in mess because of non availability of CEO and clerical staff as a result of which the poor people who use to visit the CEO office during day time suffers.
While talking to the media person Mehboob Ahmed Qazi, President District teachers association Kishtwar said that they did not want to protest in such a way, but said they were compelled to do so and accuses the CEO that despite repeated request to listen the genuine problems faced by their colleagues, he (CEO) turned blind eye towards their demands.
Qazi urged up on the government to review the functioning of CEO office Kishtwar. He said that some people were hand in glow with CEO Kishtwar and issued some statement in newspaper praising the efforts of CEO Kishtwar.
Qazi urged up on the media persons to verify the facts on its own rather than going through the press note issued by some persons having no footing on ground.
