| Jagti migrants demand implementation of PM package in toto | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 4:A meeting of Jagti Tenement committee, Migrant camp Jagti Nagrota, was convened today under the presidentship of its president Shadi Lal Pandita to discuss the problems of the KP migrants.
The meeting once again reiterated the Relief organization (Relief Commissioner (M S office) Jammu has become an undaunted hub of corrupt office and officials. Even it con be said that this organization here is run by authorised goons. The corruption caused in this organization has remained a killing factor for the migrant community when on every event related to the migrant is adhered with corruption (R/C office Jammu ) have been stagnantly kept there for last 20 years which has been the main cause of corruption. This demands reorganization of relief organization at the earliest to grant relief to the migrants by way of reshuffling the organization.
The migrant community has great hopes from the Revenue Minister Raman Bhalla who has done a lot for the betterment of this community. The community members made an earnest appeal to the Minister to address these grievances with sincerity.
The meeting also expressed concern over fake relief category ration cards.
The meeting said that there is large number of fake relief category ration cards and crores of rupees go waste in this way. These fake relief cards need to be identified, abandoned and the saving of amounts there by can be used for the enhancement of the cash relief to Rs 15000 per month per family.
The meeting also demanded implementation of Prime Minister’s Employment package for KP Youth in toto.
