Shiv Sena protests hike in petrol prices | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 4:The workers of the Shiv Sena and Dogra Front took out a procession against the price hike of petrol by UPA government. The protesters raised slogans against all the UPA allies. Addressing the gathering, president Shiv Sena, Ashok Gupta said the way petrol rates are revised by UPA within two years for 8 times with has affected the prices of all other essential commodities. The way petrol rates are revised on regular intervals the day is not far away when we will get petrol at Rs 200 per litre, said Gupta. Gupta said that public cannot be fooled any more and termed the recent increase in the petrol prices as failure of the UPA Government and their policies on economic front. He further expressed surprise as Prime Minister of India is well known economist has not uttered a single word over the recent increase.
