Woman among 5 stabbed at Ramgarh, hurt critically | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 04: Five persons, including a woman and her husband, were today wounded critically after they were attacked by a man and his three sons at Nai Basti (Jaad Abtal) in Ramgarh, Vijaypur. An old land dispute between them was the reason behind the incident, police sources said. Darshan Lal (48) of Nai Basti was going to field along with his wife Bimla Devi at about 7.30 am when they were attacked with a sharp-edged weapon by his elder brother Devi Dutta and the latter's sons -- Rakesh Kumar and Suresh Kumar. Sources said while Darshan and Bimla were being stabbed, their son Rajinder too was attacked after he tried to save them. Raj Kumar and Balkar Singh, sons of Darshan's another brother Jeet Raj, also sustained injuries after they intervened, the sources added. All the five injured persons were admitted to the GMC hospital. Police had arrested Suresh, while the other two accused were absconding. The weapon of offence had also been seized by police.
