Inquest proceedings initiated against suspicious deaths

Police have initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 Cr PC against three death cases, which occurred during the intervening night of Jan 4-5.2007.
These cases include the death of Parvez Akhtar wife of Mohammed Aslam who died after consuming some poisonous substance, recovery of a body of Mohammed Farooq from Gambir Mughlan Nallah who was missing since December 17 last and the death of Ghevna Parshad son of Lalok Ram of UP at present Bari Brahmana who was assaulted laws subsequently admitted in GMC Hospital where he expired today.
A Police spokesman said that Kari Bhai daughter of Mangkoo of Purana Agra Chak who was admitted in GMC Hospital as a burn case expired today while three others including Dharam P;aul son of Puran Chand of RS Pura, Pawan Kumar son of Bali Ram of Talab Tiloo and Shashi Bali wife of Om Parkash of Janipur made abortive attempts to commit suicide by consuming some poisonous substances at their residences. All the three victims were admitted in GMC Hospital here for treatment.
