| Lt Gen Hasnain felicitates people on Eid | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Nov 5: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha Lieutenant General SA Hasnain and all ranks of the Chinar Corps have conveyed their felicitations to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
The festival of Eid-ul-Zuha is celebrated towards the end of Hajj and is a way to strengthen faith in God. It is historically associated with sacrifice and is symbolic of the willingness to follow the path outlined by the Allah.
“The GOC is beholden to the people for all their love and cooperation extended to the Army and prays that in the future too the slogan ‘Awam Aur Jawan, Aman Hai Muqam’ will continue to hold good,” a defence communiqué said.
