| District level quiz competition in Urdu held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, NOVEMBER-05:- A District Level Quiz competition in Urdu at secondary level was organized by District Institute of Education & Trainings Udhampur (Kud) today at Government Girl Higher Secondary School Udhampur.
Teams from 11 Zones of the district Udhampur participated in the competition. These teams had been selected after competition at Zonal level.
Government City High School for Boys Udhampur Secured the Ist Position in the competition. This team will take part in the Quiz Competition at Provincial level at State Institute of Education Jammu in the first week of December 2011.
Principal Girls Hr. Sec. School Udhampur, Sh Rashpal Singh in his address to the students and teachers stressed upon more and more competitions of such type especially in languages to create interest among the students towards languages. He also gave away prizes (in the shape of Note Books) to the winners as well as participants.
Head of the Department, Mr. Sunil Sharma, Lecturers, Mr. Surinder Kumar and Mr Rashida Akhter organized the competition.
