Present coalition more anti-Jammu, anti-Youth, pro-separatist: Nirmal Singh

Jammu, Nov 5: Continuing with the “Jan Jagran Yatra” which commenced from Paddar, BJP National Executive Member Nirmal Singh alongwith State Secretary Sunil Sharma, Distt. President Dalip Singh Parihar, Ishtiaq Wani, Shakti Parihar, Swami Raj and Brij Mohan Sharma reached Kandni, Dunaddi, Bhatyas, Karra, Kandot and Gandoh areas falling in Kishtwar and Bhaderwah constituencies and addressed series of public meetings there.
Nirmal Singh, while addressing the public at these places, said that the Jammu and Jammuites became slaves of the Kashmiri leadership after independence as this province was discriminated by the successive governments in the state and the attitude of the present Omar Abdullah-led NC-Congress coalition has been more anti-Jammu, anti-Youth, anti-farmers, anti-refugees and pro-separatists and anti-national elements.
He said that the discrimination with Jammu can only be brought to an end if the Article-370 is abrogated as it has been misused for benefiting the valley and that too a handful of Kashmiri leaders.
Our fight against the continuance of Article-370 will be further intensified. He asked the Congress to explain to the people as to what benefits this Article has given to the people of Jammu and whether the Congress supports the BJP’s demand for its abrogation.
Meanwhile, in his addresses at Palma, Bakori, Kotranka, Khwas, Draman, Budhal and Rajouri, Jugal Kishore Sharma while highlighting discrimination with the people of Jammu province, hilly region of Rajouri district, the condition of the road connectivity, unemployment, scarcity of power, lack of medical & veterinary facilities speak volume of government turning a blind eye towards the basic needs of the people.
He further said that people belonging to all the communities of Jammu province are feeling ditched with high promises being made by the ruling coalition from time to time. Even package of 1.5 lakh jobs given by the Union government only 24,000 persons from Jammu province got the share rest more then 1 lakh went to the valley.
Regarding Article-370, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that only couple of Kashmiri families have been benefited on the other hand, Article-370 does not encourage the progress of private sector industry in the state as the being business houses shirks from investing here due to the legal hurdles.
Yatra Incharge & State Secretary Vibodh Gupta, Distt. President Yogesh Sharma, Bharat Bhushan, Dev Raj Sharma and Ramesh Chander accompanied Jugal Kishore Sharma.
