Talent Hunt Programme held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kathua Nov 5: The Vivekananda College of Education today has celebrated “Talent Hunt Programme” in order to give exposure to the hidden talents of B.Ed course freshers in the premises of the college at Lakhanpur Kathua. On the occasion the students performed various songs and cultural activities. The main attractions of the programme were Dogri Dance, Solo Songs, Duet Dance, Patriotic Songs, Poems, Giddha, modeling that got great applaud from the audience. On the occasion the principal of the college Anju Sharma said that the main motive of the programme was to provide the self confidence and self reliance among the pupils teachers which is the chief requirement of the teaching profession. Addressing the audience the chief guest of the programme chairman of the college Sudarshan Kumar Gupta appreciated the students for presenting wonderful and dynamic performance to reveal their talent on stage and said that the main aim of the B.Ed course is all-round development of the personality of pupil teachers and in order to develop it, they should be given chance to express their hidden talents and through such talent hidden programme is to show their caliber before the audience so that they realize their capabilities during the course. In the programme students, college staff and the principal of ETT institute G.D Sharma, Rachna Akhatar and others were present.
