| Four brothers among five charge-sheeted in double murder case | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur Nov 6: Udhampur Police charge-sheeted a double blind murder case in court wherein a woman and her 9 year old adopted son were murdered brutally at Sadhota, Panchari in Udhampur.
Giving details, Shakeel Ahmed Beig,, SSP Udhampur said that during the intervening night of 6th-7th September, 2011, a woman Krishni Devi, wife of late Seetu along with her adopted child , were brutally murdered with sharp edged weapon about 15 feet away from her residence at Sadhota in the jurisdiction of Police Station Panchari.
He added that blind double murder was solved in a record time by a SIT headed by Udhampur Addl SP Rajinder Gupta.
The accused involved in the murder, Prem Nath, Sita Ram, Krishan Chand Guddi Ram, all sons of Massu Ram and Babu Ram, son of Sita Ram were arrested and on their disclosure statements weapons of offence and blood stained clothes were also seized.
He further added that registering case under section 302 /449/147/148/149/120B RPC and the Challan was presented on in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Udhampur with in record time of 55 days
