Frontal organizations asked to mobilize party workers | PDP to hold protest against failure of State Government on Nov 15 | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 6: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would hold a massive demonstration at Jammu on November 15 against failure of the Omar Abdullah led government on all fronts. Party workers from different parts of Jammu including activists from all frontal organizations would participate in the protest demonstration. Addressing a meeting of senior party workers, former Minister and veteran leader Sardar Rangil Singh exhorted party cadre to intensify the struggle against mis-goverance of the present regime headed by Omar Abdullah. He said that during the last three years this government has done nothing to solve day today problems of the common masses. While calling upon the party workers to make the schedule protest on November 15 a historic event, Rangil Singh especially appealed to the leaders of frontal organizations to mobilize activities of their organizations for the protest. He made it clear that election of the party president has been held recently but all frontal organizations have been working normally and no frontal organization has been dissolved. Speaking on the occasion, general secretary of the party, Thakur Balbir Singh called upon party workers to educate the masses about misdeeds of the present regime headed by Omar Abdullah. He said that present government has not only failed on all fronts but it also has legitimized corruption in the state. “During the last three years corruption has crossed all limits and those at the helm of the affairs are themselves involved in corrupt practices”, he said and told the workers that aim of organizing protest demonstration on November 15 was to educate the people about failure of the present regime. PDP general secretary reminded the party workers that during 2008 assembly elections, National Conference had made lot of promises with the people of Jammu and Kashmir but not even a single promise has been fulfilled so far. He rued that instead of mitigating woes of the people the present government has further compounded miseries of the common masses through its mis-deeds and mis-governance. Senior leader Daman Bhasin, Shanti Devi, Falail Singh and others also addressed the meeting and called upon the party workers to participate in the protest demonstration on November 15.
