Jan Chetna Yatra aims to highlight the shortfalls of the present government’ | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, November 6 : If the Indian money amounting to lakhs of crores stashed in foreign banks is brought back every state in India can have five super specialty hospitals of the level of AIIMS, every district in India can have its own IIT. Not only this, our country become hunger free, we can get rid of poverty and become most developed nation in the world. This was claimed by BJP Seh - Prabhari for J&K R P Singh while addressing meetings along with National executive Member & MLA Ashok Khajuria and other senior leaders at Kunjwani Chowk under party’s “Jan Jagran Yatra” which passed through Gadigarh , Satwari , Trikuta Nagar, Nanak Nagar , Gandhi Nagar , Bahu fort , Vikram Chowk , Jewel Chowk, City Chowk, Purani Mandi, Old Hospital road, Ambphalla, Janipur, Patoli, Rehari, Maheshpura, Bakshi Nagar, Resham Ghar, Rajpura and Talab Tillo areas of Gandhi Nagar, Jammu East and Jammu West constituencies. R P Singh said that the BJP at the national level has undertaken Jan Chetna Yatra with a motive to highlight how much Indian money has been deposited in foreign banks and who is responsible for the price rise. He said while there are number of ministers, MPs and bureaucrats under who have been found involved in corrupt practices. Ashok Khajuria said that how unfortunate it is that the people who are in occupation of evacuee property in Jammu have not been granted the ownership rights despite the fact that their three generations have perished demanding the same. State Vice-President Chander Prakash Ganga in his address said that the time has come when people have styarted realising that they committed mistake by electing such people of NC and Congress who have betrayed them after being getting ministerial berths. State General Secretary Sat Sharma (C.A.) said that during the last four days our yatra has touched almost all the areas from Samba to Jammu covering more than half a dozen assembly constituencies and it has been seen that the slogans of development have turned out to be just slogans.. District President Rajesh Gupta, in his address, said that although Jammu is the winter capital of the state but it too has not been given due attention in matters of development.
