JAMMU, Nov 7: State boys and girls teams today left for participation in the Junior National Kho-Kho Championship to be held at Indore in Madhya Pradesh from November nine to November 13.
Earlier, before teams’ departure, the selected boys and girls underwent a coaching camp held at Green Field ground, here. Both the teams were presented sports kits by president of the J&K Kho-Kho Association, Harbans Singh in presence of Association general secretary, BS Tirthi.
The Teams:
BOYS: Ishtaq, Amit, Harshdeep Singh, Harjeet Kumar, Rahul Gupta, Rahul Singh, Ajay Kumar, Sumit (all from Jammu), Manik Singh (Akhnoor), Haspreet Singh (Poonch), Mohd Nadeem Mir (Baramulla) and Aaqid Mohidin Lone (Baramulla). Ajit Singh accompanied the team as coach.
GIRLS: Mehak, Shivani, Sangli, Ritu Devi, Rishu Sharma, Madhu, Tazeem, Prakriti, Shivasterti, Satmeet Kour, Sneha. Khatoon Bee and Anil Kumar accompanied the team
as manager and coach respectively.
