| Soha Ali Khan to run In 3rd Jammu marathon | | A Bollywood Tribute to Jammu Heroes | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Nov 7: Jammu is going to see a galaxy of stars in the 3rd Jammu Marathon. Apart from other attractions a number of Bollywood and international sports stars will join the 3rd Jammu Marathon.
The chairman of the organizing committee, Anil Gupta disclosed this to the media persons.
He told the reporters that Bollywood star Soha Ali Khan has confirmed her date for the 3rd Jammu Marathon.
Famous Indian cricketer Chetan Sharma will also participate in the '3rd Jammu Marathon.
Anil Gupta told the reporters that there is an overwhelming response of the young community to participate in the 3rd Jammu Marathon.
More than 16000 people have already got registered for the event. He believed that the total participation could go beyond 40000.
He told the present that all arrangements have been made for the successful organization of the 3rd Jammu Marathon.
All types of first aid facilities will be present at various places on the track and ambulances will also accompany the participants en route.
He appealed the concerned authorities to make sure that proper arrangements are made at their part.
He said that we have arranged some more attractions for the event. These will be disclosed to the media from time to time.
He said that the organization has left no stone unturned to make 3rd Jammu Marathon as a mega event for Jammu. People of the state will remember this event for a long time to come, he said.
Anil Gupta appealed to corporate houses and other bodies to come forward and take part in the 3rd Jammu Marathon.
He made a special appeal to the youth of Jammu to be a part of the culture and heritage of Jammu by joining the 3rd Jammu Marathon.
He said the theme of this year's marathon is "Run for Jammu, Run for Pride", and this event is being organized to salute the "Great Heroes of Jammu".
This event is an opportunity for the people of Jammu to display our culture and heritage in front of the entire nation.
The whole nation will watch this mega event through national media. He believed that with this event they will be able to give a message of love, peace and harmony to the entire nation.
