JAMMU, Nov 7;Eid-ul-Azha was celebrated with religious fervor and gaiety in Samba district. In Vijaypur constituency, main congregation was seen at Eidgah of Teli basti, Bari, Barodi, Fala, Tamore and Thalori where thousands of muslims offered Eid Namaz. Besides the offering of special Eid prayers, exchange of sweets and hugs were the other highlights of the celebrations of Eid-ul-Azha.
Congress leader and Ex Minister Manjit Singh along with party leaders including Babal Gupta and Gaotma Singh also visited various villages to congratulate Muslim brethren on the occasion of Eid.
Ex. Minister visited Dhamore-Jakh, Raya Fala, Bari and Barodi villages and congratulated the muslims especially party workers and supporters. He said the Eid-ul-Azha is a festival of sacrifice and harmony.
