| Air Marshal reviews IAF’s operational preparedness | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu: The IAF's Western Command chief Air Marshal DC Kumaria on Tuesday reviewed operational preparedness of the force in Jammu and Kashmir.
Air Marshal Kumaria flew to various forward Airforce locations while undertaking air reconnaissance of various areas.
He also interacted with airmen and officers at Satisar airforce location, Acharya said.
Kumaria reviewed the operational preparedness of the IAF in the state with senior IAF officials and praised their role.
DM imposes restrictions on processions
JAMMU, NOVEMBER 08-District Magistrate Jammu Mr. Sanjeev Verma has ordered that no processions shall be taken out by any individual or groups of individuals and no provocative slogans shall be raised by any one in the areas on routes Bajaj Tower to Amar Filling Station, flyover from Police Control Room to District Institute of Education and training behind New Secretariat Jammu, flyover from Subash Chowk (Mahesh Pura Chowk) to District Institute of Education and training and Rotary behind New Secretariat to New Secretariat.
However, this order shall not apply to marriages and funeral processions.
This order shall come into force from 9-11-2011 for period of two month or till rescinded, which ever is earlier.
