JAMMU, November 8 : The President Jammu and Kashmir Women Welfare and Development Society Sushila Jamwal celeberated the Poojan of “AMLA tree and Khichidhi Parshad along with the prominent women at Major Ajay Jasrotia Park Sector-C of Sainik Colony Jammu .
Sushila Jamwal thrown light at this auspicious occasion the importance of Amala poojan and the medicinal values of the Amala fruit for the human beings. She said this month is very revered month in Hindu religions and the winter Season starts.
Sushila Jamwal said that purpose of our JKWWD Society is to celebrated such festivals so that our young generation should also know the importance of this day and take this legacy forward for the coming generations.
The prominent ladies present there were Raj Kumari, Rekha Salathia, Indu Anand, Veena Sanghra, Rama Tandan, Sawarana Bandral, Renu, Promila Beloria, Manju Sambyal and others.
