| Children theatre workshop inaugurated | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, November 8 : A children theatre workshop was inaugurated by Manoranjan Kala Kendra ( Regd) Jammu at Nav Yug Higher Secondary School, Subash Nagar, Jammu.
On the occasion, Professor Rita Jitendar, was the Chief Guest and Dr. Updesh Kour ( HOD Punjabi Department, University, Jammu) , Dr. Arvinder Singh Aman ( Additional Secretary, J&K, Academy of Art culture and languages, Jammu. Dr. Rajinder Thappa (Founder, MKK) Shashi Thakur (DSP, Security) was guest of honour.
This Children Theatre workshop will cater the needs of children in which training regarding theatre acting. These students will be trained by the different experts of theatre. They will also guide them about Theatre techniques such as make- up , costumes, designing, set making, music etc. by different experts of respective fields. This workshop will run for 30 days.
The workshop will be organized under the guidance of Tejinder Singh and Rajesh Raina (Sangram Sena J&K), and incharge of Workshop will be Madam Seema Sharma, teacher of this school will look after the administrative affairs.
Professor Rita Jitender praised the organization of this workshop and said these types of workshop are necessary for cultural awareness among the students
