No justice till Omar in chair as CM:Nirmal
11/8/2011 10:58:18 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, November 08 BJP National Executive Member & former State President Dr. Nirmal Singh, said that the new revelation unearthed by the police investigation of mickery being utilized for duping the public in Haji Yusuf Shah’s murder case is an attempt on part of the Chief Minister himself to divert the attention of the public from the corruption at the highest level in NC and his role in it.
Addressing public at Kanderi Nallah, Ramgarh, Ramban Town and Gam, under party’s “Jan Jagran Yatra”, alongwith State Vice-President Bali Bhagat and BJP State Secretary Sunil Sharma,Dr. Nirmal Singh said no justice can be expcted till Omar Abdullah is in chair as the Chief Minister. If Omar Abdullah is really comitted to bring out the real cause of Haji’s death, he should immediately step down and pave way for an impartial and un-influenced inquiry.
Dr. Nirmal Singh further said that about 35,000 people residing on Doda-Ramban Road around Baglihar Project have been on the verge of being rendered shelterless on account of sinking of National highway road and the land due to the daming of the Chenab river. The small bridges for crossing the river Chenab have collapsed down. The helpless people are depending on boats to reach other places. The ration and other essential items are not reaching to other sides of Chenab. This all speaks how serious the NC-Congress coalition government is towards the welfare and survival of the people living in hilly areas. With each passing day, the problems of these people are becoming more serious. He appealed the people to be aware of the policies of the Omar Abdullah led coalition which have only encouraged the separatists and anti-national elements and promoted the valley-centric agenda and continuing with the bias with Jammu and Jammuites.

Bali Bhagat said that this year’s droughts has badly hit the farmers of the district as their crops got totally failed. These affected farmers are finding it very difficult to manage even one square meal for their families as their only source of income is the seasonal crop, which has completely wilted away.

Sunil Sharma, Brij Mohan Sharma, Rashpal Sarpanch, Ramesh Sharma, Sham Singh Katoch, Rajiv Charak, Shashi Pal Goswami and Dhruv Singh also addressed these meetings.
