HSS concerned over slow pace construction of heritage building | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Nov 8: Hindustan Shiv Sena has expressed its concern over the construction and renovation work of the historical building and its gateway with a very slow speed, at Mubarak Mandi. National President of Hindustan Shiv Sena Dimpy Kohli in a press conference issued here said that the building at Mubarak Mandi has a great significance and importance to the people of Jammu as well in the history of the State. He said that the slow speed construction and renovation work of the building has caused a great resentment among the residents of the nearby. It has become difficult for them to cross the Mubarak Mandi or to the park their vehicles due to lying of “Mulba” and other material there. Even the daily morning and evening walkers are also facing a great difficulty to have their regular walks as hundreds of men, women and children used to have their walks. Now they cannot continue their morning and evening walk due to lying of building material their which gives a bad shape to this historical building. Kohli said that their historical buildings were constructed by the Maharaja of the state and whatever was founded during the digging of the foundation of the gateway belong to the state. He urged the authorities to speed up the work of its construction and renovation. He also asked the authorities to keep its beautification intact so that the visitors while visiting the historical building may appreciate it. Kohli said that the early completion of the construction work of the building and gateway will fetch more revenue as more and more visitors will visit. Others who were present were Raj Kumar Raja, Krishan Salaria, Ashwani Gupta, Rakesh Kak, G.I Singh, Nathpal Choudary, Jitender Kohli, Rohit Sharma, H.K Sharma, Satish Sani, Sanjeev and Vipin Hindu.
