| JKP’s Anil clinches Nahoti –Sunderbani dangal | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 8: Beating his rival Mukha of Dinanagar in Punjab, Anil Kumar (Mohanu) of Jammu and Kashmir Police lifted the 1st Nahoti-Sunderbani Kesari dangal title in the main bout played at Nahoti Barnara, Sunderbani in district Rajouri.
The winner was presented a cash prize of Rs 4000 by chief guest, Shiv Kumar Sharma. He was accompanied by president Nahoti Dangal Committee, Mohan Lal Sharma.
Second main bout won by Gulshan Kumar of J&K Police beating Rana of Himachal Pradesh. In the third main bout, wrestler Prahald Singh of Sunderbani defeated Sukhdev Magotra (Sonu) of J&K Police. In other interesting bouts, Yash beat Kala, Sonu beat Yaved and Dillar Khan of J&K Police beat Kala. In all, 22 bouts were played in this day-long dangal.
Dangal was organized by Nahoti Dangal Committee in collaboration with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
Former Headmaster, Rattan Lal of Laiter, Raspaul Sharma, Yash Paul Sharma and Ashok Kumar (all Sarpanch) were guests of honour.
Members of organizing committee and those technical officials who helped in smooth conduct of dangal included Mohan Lal Sharma, Satish Shastri, Shamsher Singh, Jagdish Lal, Brafu Ram, Romesh Chander Panch, Allah Mai (Ranga), Sanjeev Sharma and Joginder Singh Chib.
